Photo Montage's are a great way to get those cherished photographs out of the photo album, and onto DVD, to be viewed right on your TV, and enjoyed by all.
At McKinnon Video Productions, we create our Photo Montages in a way that brings your photos to life. With our state of the art computers and software, we can create motion to your photos as if a Video Camera were panning across them, or zooming in or out. This is especially benificial in a group shot, we can zoom right in on the subject of interest. Each photo transitions into the next photo, usually about every 8 - 10 second, or as the music flows. The right piece of music is key to a great montage. as it sets the mood, and the emotion of the project.
Photo Montages projects can be of just about anything. The most common ones we create are for Wedding (receptions) of the Bride and Groom from when they were children, to present day. Video clips can be incorporated into projects to spice them up a bit. Especially if the video is the old 8mm film of your Grandparents, your Parents when they were children. We also offer 8mm Film Transfer Services.
Other common themes are Family History, Anniversaries, Class Reunions, Family Reunions, Celebration of Life, Military Dedications, Birthdays, etc... just about any theme you can imagine.
Of course the higher the resolution of the image, the better. But don't under estimate the quailty of photo simply because it's small in size. I've enlarged really small images that were very sharp and crisp. We also perform minor touch ups if nessesary during the scanning process, as well as save all scanned photos to a photo CD at no extra cost.
Besides motion, we can add background, or theme music to the project. We only ask that you provide the music. Typically 20-22 photos equal 3 - 4 minutes, or about one song.
